Can you tell the difference between a pine tree and a spruce? How can you identify a tree without its leaves? To find out, join us at Woodlawn for this hands-on workshop. Following a powerpoint presentation, forester Keith Kanoti from the Maine Forest Service, will take you along Woodlawn’s trails to teach you how to identify trees using the “Winter Key”. Dress appropriately. In case of inclement weather, call 667-8671 ext. 2 about cancellation. The event is free, although donations are appreciated. As space is limited, call 667-8671 for reservations. |
